USER
PREFERENCES
Recent enhancements have been added to the
MAS90 user preferences
screen to allow for further customization of your MAS 90
system. These preferences can be found under the
File/Preferences menu.

One question
that has come up several times that is related to these changes involves
how the date appears in MAS 90. When running a report, you may notice
an ending
date of 12/31/99. This date refers to 2999, not 1999. To see
the entire year format, go to File/Preferences, and under Tab 1, Windows Prefs., change Year Display
Format from Year Only to Century and Year.
Another addition is the
ability for the return city names to be entered in all caps when MAS 90
automatically enters the city name after the user enters the zip code in
Customer Maintenance. If you prefer the customers return city
to be in caps after entering a valid zip code, check the Return City Names
in All Caps on Tab 4, System Prefs.
If you are on a network version of MAS
90, any changes made to the preferences screen are workstation
specific. In the top left corner of the screen, you will see the
workstation ID for the workstation you are configuring. To set
preferences on a system-wide level, the workstation ID must be set to T0.
We
suggest you review these screens periodically after updates to see any
enhancements that have been added which may make data entry and using your
MAS 90 system easier.
**Please note, some of the options in the Preferences
screen may only be edited if you have supervisor rights in your MAS 90
system.
